MAHJ collects nothing.

There's no account to create, and no analytics, advertising or tracking. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

What stays on your device

The app keeps these things so it can work, and all of it is stored only on your iPhone or iPad:

Your cards. The hands you enter from the card you own.
Your rack and practice games, so a game in progress survives switching apps.
Your favorites and settings.

Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Photos of your card

If you read a card from photos, you pick the photos yourself with the system photo picker. The text is read on your device, and the photos aren't uploaded or kept by the app.

Network access

The app doesn't connect to any server of its own or share data with third parties. Its App Store privacy declaration lists no collected data and no tracking.

This website

This site is a set of static pages hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics, fonts or scripts from anywhere else. GitHub may keep standard server logs, as described in GitHub's privacy statement.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
